Michigan Pain Consultants wants to reassure you, that we have always received our steroid medication from Upjohn which is a division of Pfizer based out of Kalamazoo. We pay a premium for the Upjohn medication because it is the highest-quality product available and is in keeping with our primary objective to provide exceptional care to our patients.
As an international organization, pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer are subject to the highest levels of FDA oversight. In our 28 years practicing in west Michigan, there has never been a case of infection attributed to a procedure conducted in our office containing medications received from Pfizer or any other organization subject to FDA oversight.
